Vision
The Environmental Sciences program is a highly interdisciplinary approach to the study of environmental processes. With a solid grounding in science and mathematics, Environmental Sciences students are prepared to tackle complex environmental problems in a rigorous way and with an appreciation of related science, engineering and policy issues. A special emphasis is placed on exploring the many paths to sustainable patterns of resource and energy use, development, and ecological restoration and protection.
This program prepares students for a wide variety of jobs in industry, government, and consulting. Students are also well qualified to go on to graduate schools in law, medicine, business, public policy, environmental science and engineering, and ecology.
